"If you added up all our film credits... the number would range in the thousands"
I was trained as a choral conductor and studied with some great teachers, Mel Ivey, who is now at the University
of North Texas at Denton and with Howard Swan during his last days at the University of California at Irvine. My instrumental background is as a classical guitarist.
Currently I am employed as a singer with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, first with Paul Salamunovich and now with their terrific new music director, Grant Gershon.
I am also a 15 year member of the Los Angeles Opera Chorus. In addition to all this, I have the privilege of being associated with some of the most gifted studio session
singers in the Los Angeles area. I have participated in the post-production soundtrack music on nearly a hundred feature films and television and radio spots.
Geiger20 is made up of 20 of some of my very best singing colleagues from Los Angeles. As individuals we have performed with some of the greatest conductors in the
world at the largest and finest venues in the country and around the world. A few friends who have joined me in this endeavor are multiple Grammy winners and nominees.
Some are famous solo artists in their own right. Some are published composers and arrangers and ALL of them are wonderful souls and genuinely nice people to hang around
with. If you added up all our film credits, I imagine the number would range into the thousands. We have at least five Grammy’s individually and personally, I have two
nominations to my credit. We have what is known in the industry as real juice. We are all highly trained and skilled with decades of experience to back up our claims.
At the moment, As we are a relatively new entity, assembled just a year ago, we have only one credit as a group. We are the chorus which is featured singing the music on the Korean on-line video game called SHAIYA: Light and Darkness (www.shaiya.com). The music was written by my colleague George Oldziey (www.oldzieymusic.com) who has done quite well for himself in that genre and is beginning to make great headway in the feature film arena.
